Matthew 9:35-38

Matthew 9:35-38 serves as a summary (looking back), as well as an introduction and pivot to what is coming next. 

The Lord of the harvest is the same Lord who has sent His Son to be the sacrifice for sins once for all. For God so loved the world, He gave us His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Our city and nation is filled with people in need of Jesus.

Since Jesus states, “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few,” what is your responsibility as a follower of Jesus Christ?
